CMC Rocks 2018

CMC Rocks returns to Willowbank, Ipswich in 2018, with the festival dates now confirmed. Request your annual leave, pack your camping gear, and grab your mates, as we head to CMC Rocks from Thursday 15 – Sunday 18 March 2018.

It’s the biggest annual event on the Australian country music calendar and in fact the southern hemisphere, for the first time we’re extending the Thursday program to include live music at the Jack Daniel’s White Rabbit Saloon from 1pm through to 2am.

In 2017 CMC Rocks created history, with the festival selling out for the second year running. Crowds of more than 15,000 country music lovers traveled from all over the world, including North America, Sweden, Singapore and Austria for the three day event in Ipswich. This year we’re providing more live music action than ever before!

Last year’s 10th anniversary event was a complete sell-out, injecting an estimated $6.1 million into the Ipswich local economy.

CMC Rocks 2017

CMC Rocks 2017 was the festival’s 10th birthday event, and showcased an array of dazzling on-stage moments. We still get shivers thinking of Little Big Town‘s spectacular CMC Rocks debut singing their hit Better Man, Kip Moore‘s much anticipated return, and a stunning greatest hits set from global superstars the Dixie Chicks who headed down-under for the first time in a decade with their first stop Ipswich.

Amongst the boots, Akubra hats and young men doing ‘shoeys’ at CMC Rocks Queensland there were moments of pure magic ensured over the course of the weekend, as one of Morgan Evans‘ long-time fans joined the singer on stage to propose to his partner, which Larry Emdur dropped in to Sweetheart’s Saloon Speed Dating to lend a hand to MC Buddy Goode.
