CMC Rocks Qld 2020 has been cancelled

Today (20 March 2020) the team behind CMC Rocks Qld made the tough decision to cancel the festival. They’ve put in an enormous amount of hard work (and we know they will continue to do so in the aftermath of this announcement) and we are looking forward to all the amazing things that 2021 has in store. See below for their statement, shared on Facebook:

Despite our very best efforts to move CMC Rocks QLD to later in the year, we have had to make the incredibly difficult decision to cancel the 2020 event altogether.

As you can imagine, we are beyond disappointed for everyone involved; our artists, suppliers, staff and team, but most of all our loyal fans. With no certainty in the current climate, and the situation changing daily, we are unable to deliver the festival we’d like for our CMC Rocks family this year.

Some good news! Both your 2020 event and camping tickets will be automatically valid for CMC Rocks QLD 2021 – so no need to do anything, just hold onto your tickets and start counting down until next year. Festival dates for 2021 will be confirmed at a later date, and we’ll be bringing you a brand new line up.

If you’re not able to attend the 2021 event, you also have the option to request a refund, Moshtix will be contact with the account holder when this refund window opens.

For those opting for a refund, please be patient; due to the large number of refunds being processed across the industry, it is expected to take longer than usual.

Alternatively, if you purchased tickets from an outlet or individual seller, you will need to go back to the point of purchase.

Regrettably, we also advise the cancellation of the concerts for Miranda Lambert, Introducing Nashville and Seaforth scheduled for this month. Your tickets will be automatically refunded for these shows. Again, due to the large number of refunds across the industry, it is expected to take longer than usual. If you have not been refunded within 21 business days, please contact your original point of purchase to enquire.

Some more good news! We’re working on rescheduling Kip Moore’s Sydney and Melbourne dates for later this year and will be looking to add a show in Queensland. Please stay tuned to our Facebook page for updates, as the shows will be announced in the coming weeks. Ticketholders are advised to hold onto their tickets for now; all tickets will be valid for the new dates. If you’re unable to make it to the new dates, you’ll be able to secure a full refund from your original point of purchase.

We’d like to thank our CMC Rocks community for their support and understanding during these challenging times.

Take care of yourselves, your friends and family, and we look forward to seeing you all in 2021! 💘
