CMC Rocks The Hunter 2013 first artist line-up announced

Rascal Flatts have been announced as the headliners of the 2013 CMC Rocks The Hunter Music Festival.

The Nashville trio, known for hits such as 'These Days,' 'Bless The Broken Road' and 'Here Comes Goodbye,' will be the major act on a line-up that features some of the biggest talents in local and international country music.

Also on the international bill is legendary singer songwriter Billy Ray Cyrus, young up and coming superstar Chris Young, and one of the most exciting and celebrated acts in country, The Band Perry.

Representing the local music scene will be multiple CMC Artist of the Year award winner, Adam Brand, and Golden Guitar winner and host of CMC's Alt Country program, Catherine Britt.

The festival is held over March 15, 16 and 17 in 2013 at the Hope Estate in the Hunter Valley. Tickets go on sale for the event October 4.
